Kreston International is a global network of accounting firms each of which is a separate and independent legal entity and as such has no liability for the acts or omissions of any other member firm.
Each member of the international network in South Africa (Kreston SA) is likewise, a separate and independent legal entity.

The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA)
The IRBA is the statutory body controlling that part of the accountancy profession involved with public accountancy in South Africa. Their strategic focus is to protect the financial interests of the public by ensuring that only suitably qualified individuals are admitted to the auditing profession and that registered auditors deliver services of the highest quality and adhere to the highest ethics standards.
The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
SAICA is the foremost accountancy body in South Africa. The mission of SAICA is to serve the interests of the chartered accountancy profession and society, by upholding professional standards and integrity, and the pre-eminence of South African CAs nationally and internationally.
The South African Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT)
SAIT is the largest of the professional tax bodies in South Africa and seeks to enhance the tax profession by developing standards in education, compliance, monitoring and performance. SAIT contributes to the development of world class professional practises and people.
The South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA)
SAIPA is the South African Institute of Professional Accountants, and boasts a membership of over 10 000 members. SAIPA represents qualified Professional Accountants (SA) in practice, commerce and industry, academia and the public sector. For over 35 years, SAIPA has been a pioneer in the South African economy, contributing to the advancement of the accountancy profession, influencing legislation and constantly transforming to keep abreast of business, financial and social developments in the country and internationally.
The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA)
IIA SA is part of an international network representing the interests of Internal Auditors worldwide. As a part of this international network, the IIA SA upholds and supports the fundamental tenets of the profession – the Code of Ethics and the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
